Kevin Hart Reality Check Tour Comes To SA.



Kevin Hart graced the South African shores for the world premiere of his Amazon film “Die Hart the Movie” along with making stops in Cape Town and Joburg on his “Reality Check” world tour, Emmy and Grammy-nominated Kevin Hart is currently touring with his gold standard stand-up material, which has shattered box office records everywhere. Initially, the sold-out Gauteng stop of the show was scheduled as a one-night-only performance to take place on 17 February at the Sun Arena in Pretoria. However, an additional date, February 18, was added to accommodate fans who failed to get tickets.


The last time Kevin Hart was in South Africa his tour was in Cape Town and Durban where the actor and comedian attended a press conference at Multichoice City, answering questions from the press and taking selfies with the massive crowd who turned up to catch a glimpse of the star.


The 43 comedian entrepreneur has two children together, Heaven Leigh and Hendrix from his ex-wife. Hart is now married to model Eniko Parrish. The couple had a son, Kenzo Kash, and a daughter Kaori Mai Hart. Hart is a Hollywood box office powerhouse, with eleven number-one ranked films, Central Intelligence, Jumanji, and Think Like A Man. he has NAACP,Teen Choice Awards, and BET Awards are some of his awards. He is not just a comedian and actor, he is also a successful entrepreneur and Chairman of HEARTBEAT, a multi-platform media company that creates entertainment at the intersection of comedy and culture with a mission to keep the world laughing together.


Kevin Hart adds another SA show to his ‘Reality Check’ world tour despite ticket price outcry.

The comedian, who was given the name ‘Mpho’ meaning gift by South Africans, has announced that he will be having a second show in South Africa. Initially, he had announced one show at the Sun Bet Arena at Time Square, Pretoria on 17 February 2023 and he recently added another date for the 18th of February. While South Africans are excited about the show, some are shocked at the ticket prices, which are officially now on sale. Although the tickets were expensive it was worth it as the added PTA final show in SA Trevor Noah surprises the audience.


After Saturday night's show, Hart revealed that South African comedian Trevor Noah made a trip to surprise his audience and received "one of the biggest applause that I have ever witnessed".

"He then bought me up, and the rest is history!" Hart added. "I can't thank you all enough. Mpho Hart loves South Africa. Until next time guys!"



Kevin Hart channels his South African altar ego Mpho as Trevor Noah teaches him how to gwara gwara on a night out on the town. A video was posted on Hart’s TikTok page. In the video, Hart shouts, “I’m in South Africa with Trevor Noah, look what I learned”, before belting out the gwara gwara. the two continued to dance and enjoyed their night out on the town drinking Kevin Hart's tequila, "Gran Coramino Tequil", which according to Noah is “really smooth and delicious”.

New projects; Die Hart, Hart plays a fictional version of himself in the comedy series, which follows his quest to become a renowned star of action films. In the series, Kevin Hart's alter ego wants to ditch comedy and become an action star in the upcoming comedy "Die Hart."Hart remakes the series into a movie. The movie adaptation version of himself is trying to pivot from being pigeonholed as a comedy wingman to being taken seriously as an action movie star. Hart attends “action hero school” run by Ron Wilcox, played by John Travolta ("Saturday Night Fever," "Pulp Fiction," "Get Shorty"), where he attempts to learn the ropes on how to become one of the industry’s most coveted action stars.
